Whether you're a school student striving for top grades to secure your place at university or if you’re looking to take the next step in your academic journey, we’re here to be the connection that guides you to success.

Our company is built on three core values: collaboration, dedication, and mentorship, and our services are designed to break down barriers, open doors, and create opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background or connections.

While our primary focus is on tuition, we are actively exploring new ways to expand our impact, including innovative medical and dental programmes designed to connect people with valuable opportunities.

OUR VISION

My name is Umar Humza Saifuddin, founder and the Chief Executive Officer at SynapseUK!

As an ambitious 4th year medical student, I thrive on hard work and enjoy the variety of learning opportunities that come with my studies.

My inspiration for creating SynapseUK comes from two core beliefs instilled in me by my late father:

1) If you are in a position to help someone, you should, and the greatest happiness should come from helping those in difficulty.

2) You can measure how successful your life was by how much benefit you provided to those around you.

These principles have guided me throughout my life and now shape my vision for this company. A platform designed to provide equal opportunities and mentorship for students as they navigate their educational journeys.

Beyond my medical studies, I’m excited by the challenge of building something meaningful from the ground up. Our organisation is built on the values of collaboration, dedication, and mentorship, and we strive to create connections for those who may not have them while inspiring success for everyone.

Mohsin Mohammad

Hi! My name is Mohsin and I am a 4th year medical student currently undertaking an MSc in Medical Imaging Science! I am responsible for managing the finances of the company and allocating the budgets to our different operations.

Dr Junaid Malik

Chief Clinical Officer

Hello, my name is Junaid, and I am a GP partner based in the West Midlands. I have an extensive history in medical education and run a teaching practice where I host clinical year medical students. I am also responsible for the oversight of SynapseUK’s clinical-based operations!

    MEDICAL LEAD

    Hi! I'm a 4th-year medical student with interests in medical education, widening participation, and mentorship. Through leadership roles across student societies and extensive experience supporting aspiring medical students, I am passionate about making medical careers more accessible and helping applicants navigate the admissions process with confidence.

    DENTAL LEAD

    Hi! I am the Dental Lead, and I’m currently studying dentistry myself, so I know firsthand how challenging the admissions process can be. My own experiences and passion for teaching drive me to help fellow students build confidence. I aim to break down every wall our students face when applying to dentistry by providing them with any individualised support they need.

    Hi! I'm Garima, a 4th-year medical student with a strong interest in medical education. As someone who couldn't get tutoring and application help, I aim to pass on the knowledge I have gathered to others, making medical education more accessible. Working as a medical admissions lead, my goal is to make everyone more confident regarding the application process and allow them to reach their full potential.

    Hi, I’m Zarqa, a fourth-year dental student working in dental education content development. I plan and deliver educational resources, design workshops and programmes, and support dental students and applicants in building strong academic foundations and deeper understanding of dentistry.

    Hello! I’m Zahra, a 4th year dental student. My role focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I lead the development of structured content across core dental subjects. A big part of my role is breaking down complex topics into structured explanations that will make sense to students.

    Hey everyone! I'm Maheer, a 2nd year medical student. I help students navigate the journey into medical and dental school with clarity and confidence by organising structured, personalised online tuition. I guide students step-by-step through both academics and applications, pairing them up with tutors to achieve success.
